Will I get to meet the DJ who will be DJing my Wedding/Event?

Absolutely! If you are hiring a DJ for your event through us, you will get a free consultation with YOUR DJ. It is important you know the personality of your DJ and feel comfortable with them and go over the general vibe you want to create. Therefore, we make it a priority to meet your DJ!

How do we help you organize your event?

We at Amp Event Professionals make planning every aspect of your event easy! We do this by offering you an Online Client Login that will help you plan your events within your event, planning of your timeline, and even picking from over 50,000 songs of all genres and eras! The best part is, when you change something within your login, it sends us and your DJ an email so we are in contact every step of the way leading up to your special day!

Do we take requests?

Yes, and we play them! We bring thousands of songs to each event. Your special requests are important to us, and you event get an Online Client Login to help you organize and choose your songs! If we don’t have them, then we will buy them.

Do we take breaks?

No. Breaks are not taken unless specified by the client. Amp Event Professionals provides continuous music unless an announcement is being made on the microphone.

Do we play from a pre-programmed playlist?

No. The music is played at each event is generated 2 ways:

1. Requests: Clients can choose their music. Simply by writing selections and giving them to the DJ, one week prior to the event. Guests can make requests through the DJ.

2. Reading the Crowd: This is where the DJ plays a variety of music based on certain guest criteria including the most common one, age. When the DJ feels he has read the crowd and found what they like, he customizes the music selections accordingly.

When will my DJ arrive to setup for my event?

We arrive at least 2 hours prior for setup so we can be sure our equipment is test and ready to go upon guest arrival. We will coordinate this with your venue prior to the event date.

How will the DJ be dressed at your event?

You can decide! The DJ may be dressed in a Suit, Polo or Dress Shirt. Whatever you choose, you can be assured that it will be tasteful and professional. The following attire descriptions should help in making a decision:

Formal: Suit to match event colors
Semi-Formal: Black Shirt and Black Slacks
Business Casual: Company Polo with Black slacks
Casual: Company Polo with Jeans

We will never come to your event in jeans (unless the client specifies otherwise). We base our attire off professionalism which always include at minimum a polo with slacks.

It depends on the event, but required with the deposit is a signed Service Agreement which will reserve your date on our calendar. The balance is due 2 weeks prior to event

Is a service agreement required for your event?
